The 32nd Annual Friends of Legal Services Book Sale is now underway at Laird Hall on the Wilson College campus in Chambersburg.  The sale concludes from noon to 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 8.  Sunday is bargain bag day:  patrons can fill a grocery sack with books of their choice for just $5, and the fourth bag is free.

“In addition to the 70,000 books displayed in Laird Hall itself, we have a remarkable collection of books from the estate of Cesi Kellinger this year,” said Carolyn Carter, a volunteer with the organization.  She said that she had spent Thursday putting Mrs. Kellinger’s books on display in a special room off Laird Hall.  “The collection includes over a thousand incredible art books and materials from art exhibitions, plus two shelves of books from the early 1900s, and many, many other types of books.”  They will be on sale through Saturday at 5:00 PM.

Admission is free and there is free parking on the Wilson College campus.  Proceeds help provide legal services to local low-income residents and victims of domestic violence.  The Law Offices of DiLoreto, Cosentino, & Bolinger and F&M Trust provided generous financial support for the sale.
