WAYNESBORO — The 19th annual Summer Jubilee, the Waynesboro area's annual July 4 celebration on Monday, will have activities from morning until night.

The bulk of the action takes place on the Summer Jubilee grounds along East Main Street across from Waynesboro Hospital. There will be games, entertainment and food throughout the day. Children can enjoy inflatables, a magic show, face painting, balloons and spin art.

Events start with a 1-mile fun run for kids and the Firecracker 5K, a flag-raising ceremony and a parade sponsored by the Brothers of the Brush.

Summer Jubilee concludes with fireworks by Master Displays of Virginia.
