Greencastle motorcyclist killed in crash on U.S. 11 in Antrim Township

A Greencastle motorcyclist died as the result an accident Tuesday evening, April 23, on Molly Pitcher Highway, also known as U.S. 11, in Antrim Township.

Zachary L. Daley, 30, was the operator of the southbound 2003 Suzuki involved in a three-vehicle accident at 8:22 p.m. at 6451 Molly Pitcher Highway between Greencastle and Marion.

Pennsylvania State Police said Candace L. Rutherford, 55, of Greencastle was southbound in the right-hand lane and Daley was southbound in the left-hand lane when Rutherford attempted to change lanes and Daley’s motorcycle hit the rear of her 2014 Mini Countryman.

The motorcycle then when into the northbound lane and was hit by an Audi Q5 driven by Michael J. Scholl, 50, of Rock Hill Furnace before continuing off the road and striking a utility pole, police said.
